Shoulder and Arm Exercises Part 1

Our shoulders are a complex group of joints and muscles. It’s this very complexity that allows the shoulder to have the incredible variety and range of motion that it does. Yet at the same time, it is this complexity that cause our shoulders to be so vulnerable to injury and pain that they are. Full Body Breathing

In this video we cover the concept and and practice of full body breathing. The majority of people only breath with 30 to 40% of their lunch capacity. If you grasp this, you will not fall into the blunders nor suffer the bewilderment many do. Learning to breath properly gives one a chance to harmonize them selves with the world around them.

Once you experience these rhythms in an ongoing way—which is what happens if you can work up to including both retentions in the neck and to build a pranayama practice gives you an experiential awareness of that hidden realm. As one slowly goes deeper into the practice of consciously extending these pauses is called kumbhaka, or retention. As you continue to practice pranayama separately from asanas, and to build a pranayama practice the possibility of refuge during every day situations opens.
